What a partnership looks like
Eighth Rank Chess is designed to work with schools, libraries, community organizations, and chess organizations that want to create meaningful chess opportunities for children. Our girls-first approach keeps girls at the center while remaining open to all children. Partners provide a place and a local connection; Eighth Rank Chess brings the curriculum, program structure, and coach development pathway.
For schools
Eighth Rank Chess provides a four-stage curriculum designed to help children build their chess skills step by step, with a focus on learning, participation, and continued development.
For libraries and community organizations
We are developing partnerships with organizations that want to make chess more accessible and create opportunities for children to learn and participate.
For chess organizations
We welcome partnerships that complement our curriculum and help connect children with meaningful chess experiences.
